Agricultural land is the cheapest way to own ground: large areas from a few zł per square metre, low agricultural tax and full flexibility for the future, from farming and leasing to farmstead development, and, once the conditions are met, also converting part of it for construction. Plots up to 1 ha can be bought without being a farmer and without the consent of KOWR (the National Support Centre for Agriculture).

Can I buy an agricultural plot without being a farmer?
Yes, agricultural plots up to 1 ha can be bought by anyone. Above 1 ha statutory restrictions apply, together with the right of first refusal of KOWR (the National Support Centre for Agriculture).
Can a house be built on agricultural land?
Sometimes yes: through farmstead development (for people running a farm) or after obtaining warunki zabudowy (a zoning decision) or a change of the land use designation. We write about this at length on the blog.
Can these plots be bought in 0% installments?
Yes, we sell every plot on this list in 0% installments without a bank: a 10% down payment, repayment up to 5 years, no credit check and no BIK (the Polish credit register).
When do I become the owner of a plot bought in installments?
Right away. We transfer ownership by notarial deed at the start of repayment, not after the last installment, so you can build from day one.
