Agricultural plot for sale with an area of 0.5 ha (no. 87) in the cadastral district of Łokacz Mały, on the outskirts of Krzyż Wielkopolski, in gmina Krzyż Wielkopolski (municipality), powiat czarnkowsko-trzcianecki (Czarnków-Trzcianka county), Greater Poland Voivodeship, western Poland. It is an elongated strip of meadow whose shorter side borders voivodeship road no. 174 (Trzcianecka street) and which extends inwards as far as a drainage ditch. The land is flat; in the land register it is class V arable land (RV).

Location and access:

Łokacz Mały borders Krzyż Wielkopolski: the town centre is approx. 1.5 km away by road and Krzyż railway station approx. 2 km. Krzyż is a railway junction on the Poznań - Szczecin and Tczew - Kostrzyn lines, with direct trains to Poznań (the fastest take approx. 40 min), Gorzów Wielkopolski, Piła and Szczecin, among others. Voivodeship road no. 174 (Trzcianecka street) runs next to the plot, and PKS buses leave from the town. Wieleń is approx. 13 km away and Trzcianka approx. 40 km.

Village and surroundings:

Łokacz Mały is a village of approx. 430 inhabitants, lying between Krzyż Wielkopolski and Lake Łokacz (also called Królewskie). In the late 1970s residents of Krzyż built an estate of single-family houses here, and today the village is mainly a residential suburb of the town. Krzyż Wielkopolski (approx. 5,900 inhabitants) lies where the Drawa flows into the Noteć; it has primary schools, a secondary school, kindergartens, medical clinics, pharmacies and supermarkets. Forests cover more than half of the municipality, the nearest less than 1 km from the plot.

Recreation:

There is a guarded bathing area with a campsite on Lake Królewskie, approx. 2 km from the plot. Krzyż is the end of the Drawa canoe trail, which starts in Czaplinek and runs through Drawa National Park (approx. 22 km by road), among other places; the canoe landing in Bielice Nowe is approx. 4 km from the plot and the Noteć approx. 3 km. South of the town begins the Noteć Forest (Puszcza Notecka) with extensive pine forests. The R1 cycling route and the local trail "Po obu stronach Noteci" run along road 174 next to the plot.

Planning status:

The plot is covered by the local zoning plan (MPZP) of the town of Krzyż Wielkopolski (resolution of 3 June 2005). The plan designates it partly as agricultural land (symbol R) and partly as the strip of the existing voivodeship road (symbol KDG1). On the R land, farmstead (homestead) development is not permitted. Any earthworks require an opinion from the monument conservator regarding possible archaeological sites. The plot is not designated for building.
