Village and surroundings:

Sulikowo is a village with its own council (sołectwo) of medieval origin, with approx. 300 inhabitants and a historic neo-Romanesque church of St. Anthony from the 19th century, built of dressed stone decorated with red brick. In 2024 the sołectwo reached the final ten of the Piękna Zachodniopomorska Wieś (Beautiful West Pomeranian Village) competition, as the only one from Szczecinek county. On site there are a village community hall, a volunteer fire brigade and a rural women's association. Everyday errands can be done in Barwice, the seat of the municipality (gmina), while the full county facilities, including a hospital with a 24-hour emergency department, are in Szczecinek.

Recreation:

The forest begins approx. 50 m from the plot, and the nearest lake lies approx. 700 m away. Gmina Barwice has the lakes Koprzywno, Dębno and Sierakowo and the Dębnica river, a tributary of the Parsęta. The Greenway - Naszyjnik Północy (Necklace of the North), one of the longest cycling routes in Poland (approx. 850 km), runs through the Barwice area, and within the cadastral district of Sulikowo there are 5 natural monuments and a protected ecological site (Polish 'użytek ekologiczny'), a bog with an area of approx. 60 ha. In the wider area are Drawski Park Krajobrazowy (Drawsko Landscape Park) with Lake Drawsko, the second-deepest in Poland, and the spa town of Połczyn-Zdrój with its historic Park Zdrojowy (spa park). On Lake Trzesiecko in Szczecinek there is a promenade with a pier, a water tram (passenger boat) and a water-ski cable lift, one of the longest in Europe.
