Location and access:

The village lies in the Drawsko Lakeland, approx. 6 km east of Barwice and 23 km from Szczecinek. The road from Barwice to Knyki has been thoroughly rebuilt, in total more than 4.5 km of new asphalt, and the works were completed in 2025. A few kilometres to the south runs voivodeship road no. 172, Połczyn-Zdrój - Barwice - Szczecinek. An unpaved road (plot no. 221) leads to the plot itself and reaches its eastern corner at a junction of field tracks. A bus stop with a shelter is approx. 900 m from the plot.

Village and surroundings:

Knyki is a quiet village with its own council (sołectwo), just under 400 inhabitants, with a village community hall and the Kwiat Paproci rural women's association. The Chwalimka stream, a tributary of the Parsęta, flows through the village; its valley is covered by the Natura 2000 site Dorzecze Parsęty. The area is agricultural, with small forest complexes scattered on all sides, and across the municipality forests cover approx. 34% of the area. A shop and a primary school are within approx. 3 km, the parish church is in Stare Chwalimie, and the full range of facilities (offices, clinics, shops) is in Barwice.

Recreation:

Forest surrounds the plot on three sides, so mushroom picking and walks start right here. The area is dotted with small mid-field ponds, and approx. 4 km to the north flows the Parsęta, a river valued by anglers. Gmina Barwice (municipality) contains the lakes Koprzywno, Dębno and Sierakowo, and a local speciality is the traditional Koprzywno wholemeal bread (chleb koprzywieński). In Szczecinek (23 km) there is Lake Trzesiecko with a town park, a promenade, a water tram, bathing areas and a water-ski cable lift, one of the longest in Europe. Połczyn-Zdrój (27 km) is a spa town with therapeutic mud, mineral waters and the historic Park Zdrojowy (spa park, approx. 80 ha), and between Połczyn-Zdrój and Czaplinek lies the Dolina Pięciu Jezior (Five Lakes Valley) nature reserve, where the Drawa begins.

There is currently no local zoning plan. The plot has a zoning decision for the construction of a single-family house.
