Two parallel building plots for sale with a total area of 10 617 m² (approx. 1.06 ha) in the village of Świerczyna, 17 km from Czaplinek, in gmina Wierzchowo (municipality), powiat drawski (Drawsko county), West Pomeranian Voivodeship, north-western Poland. Plots no. 207/1 and 205 are two elongated strips of land separated by a strip of neighbouring land; the whole site fits within an outline of approx. 99 × 182 m and has a zoning decision (Polish 'warunki zabudowy', WZ) for two residential buildings. The terrain is flat and open, covered with grass and young self-seeded pines and birches, and to the north-east it reaches a local road with a row of trees along it. The forest begins approx. 40 m from the boundary, arable fields lie all around, and extensive forest complexes can be seen on the horizon in every direction.

Location and access:

Świerczyna lies in the eastern part of gmina Wierzchowo, on the southern edge of the Pojezierze Drawskie lake district. Within a radius of approx. 10 km run voivodeship roads no. 163 (Czaplinek - Wałcz) and no. 177, which are reached by local roads. The nearest operating railway stations are Czaplinek and Złocieniec on the revitalised line 210, with trains towards Szczecinek and Runowo Pomorskie, where you can change for Szczecin. There is a bus stop in the village, approx. 500 m from the plots.

Village and surroundings:

Świerczyna is one of the largest villages in the municipality, with approx. 700 inhabitants, a classicist church from 1830, a primary school with a kindergarten, a library, a village hall and a volunteer fire brigade unit (OSP). The shop and the bus stop are approx. 500 m from the plots, the school less than 600 m, all within walking distance. The Świerczyna Forest District (Nadleśnictwo Świerczyna) has its seat in the village, and since the 1950s the Drzewiarz sports club has been active here, one of the oldest rural sports clubs in the region. The village lies on the Świerczyniec stream. Fuller facilities and the municipal office are in Wierzchowo.

Recreation:

More than 60% of gmina Wierzchowo is covered by forests, and the surrounding forests of the Świerczyna Forest District are open for hiking, Nordic walking and geocaching, among other activities. The blue hiking trail named after the 1 Warszawska Dywizja Kawalerii (the 1st Warsaw Cavalry Division), 52 km long, runs through the village, from Drawsko Pomorskie towards Wałcz, following the route of the fighting for the Wał Pomorski (Pomeranian Wall). A few kilometres from the village lies the Sośnica nature reserve: an old oak and beech stand aged 240-280 years on the hill Góra Mylna (181 m above sea level). The municipality has eight smaller lakes, including Busko (approx. 30 ha, up to 18 m deep), with angling permits available. In Czaplinek, 17 km from the plots, begins Lake Drawsko, the second deepest in Poland (approx. 80 m deep, approx. 1800 ha, 12 islands), with marinas and bathing areas, and beyond it stretches the Drawski Park Krajobrazowy (Drawsko Landscape Park).
