The plots form two rows separated by the internal road (plot no. 136/14); to the north-east the complex adjoins a road lined with a row of trees, and next door stand village houses with gardens. Each of the 13 plots has a zoning decision (Polish 'warunki zabudowy', WZ) for a single-family house.

Location and access:

Krytno lies in the northern part of gmina Polanów, between Koszalin and Polanów. Through the village runs a local road linking Nadbór (on voivodeship road DW206 Koszalin - Polanów - Miastko) via Ratajki with Sianów, so towards Koszalin you can drive either through Nacław and the DW206 or through Sianów. It is approx. 14 km to Polanów and approx. 24 km to Koszalin. A bus stop is approx. 650 m from the plots.

Village and surroundings:

Krytno is a quiet, small village (approx. 170 inhabitants) among fields and forests. On site there is a village community hall run by the Polanowski Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu (the Polanów culture and sports centre), and there is also a historic manor park with avenues from the mid-19th century, entered in the register of monuments. The nearest shop is approx. 3 km away. The primary school (a branch of the Zespół Szkół Publicznych public school in Polanów) is in neighbouring Nacław, the parish church in nearby Bukowo, with a subsidiary church in Ratajki. Full facilities (offices, schools, services) are in Polanów, and Koszalin provides the amenities of a large city, with universities and a voivodeship hospital.

Recreation:

Forests cover 52% of the area of gmina Polanów, and there are 34 lakes within it. The surroundings are the hilly Wysoczyzna Polanowska (the Polanów upland). The nearest large lake, Nicemino (approx. 105 ha, one of the two largest in the municipality), lies approx. 7.5 km to the south-west in a straight line. By the road to Koszalin, between Jacinki and Nacław, grows a beech avenue from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries with the status of a natural monument. Kayaking routes have been marked out on the Grabowa and the Radew, and near Polanów rises Święta Góra Polanowska (the Holy Mountain of Polanów) with a Franciscan hermitage. The nearest point on the sea is Darłówko: beaches, a port and a lighthouse, approx. 40 km by road.
