The complex has a regular, almost square shape (approx. 44 × 52 m); the terrain is flat and even, currently a meadow with no trees to fell, ready for construction without levelling. To the east, approx. 90 m from the boundary, a dense forest begins, and to the north-west there is an open view of the fields. Each plot has a zoning decision (Polish 'warunki zabudowy', WZ) for a single-family house.

Location and access:

Czyżkowo lies in the Krajna Lakeland (Pojezierze Krajeńskie), in the north-eastern part of powiat złotowski, right by the border with the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. You reach the plots by an asphalt road through the village, the last stretch being an unpaved road; the complex connects to the county road via an internal road (plots no. 145/4 and 146/6). In Lipka, approx. 9 km and a quarter of an hour by car, there is the Lipka Krajeńska station on railway line no. 203 Tczew - Kostrzyn nad Odrą, with regional trains towards Chojnice and Piła, among other destinations. Voivodeship road no. 188 (DW188) from Piła via Złotów to Człuchów also runs through Lipka, and the section from Lipka to Debrzno-Wieś has a footpath and cycle path opened in 2023.

Village and surroundings:

Czyżkowo is a quiet village of approx. 240 inhabitants, with a linear street-village layout dating back to the 15th century. The village has a filial church of the parish in Wielki Buczek, and the Łobżonka flows through it, at this point still a small stream of its upper course. The immediate surroundings of the plots are scattered single-family houses and farmsteads, with no apartment blocks or industry; there is street lighting along the road through the village. Everyday amenities are in Lipka, the seat of the municipality: a primary school, a kindergarten and a nursery, a community centre, shops and eateries. The county hospital is in Złotów.

Recreation:

The area is the borderland between the Bory Krajeńskie (Krajna Forests) and the Krajna Lakeland, where approx. 300 lakes have been counted. The nearest are Lake Juchacz (approx. 3 km) and Lake Lutowskie (approx. 5 km) within the Krajna Landscape Park (Krajeński Park Krajobrazowy). Near Debrzno lies Lake Żuczek with a municipal bathing area and fishing grounds for pike, perch and zander, and in Debrzno itself medieval defensive walls with towers have survived. The red cycling route of powiat złotowski, 184 km long, runs through Lipka. The surrounding forests are managed by the Lipka Forest District (Nadleśnictwo Lipka); pine dominates the stands, with an admixture of oak and beech.
