Building plots for sale: a complex of building plots with a total area of over 9 100 m² on the edge of the village of Rakłowice, 9 km from Milicz, in gmina Cieszków (municipality), powiat milicki (Milicz county), Lower Silesian Voivodeship, south-western Poland. The individual plots range from 887 to 1 421 m², and each has a zoning decision (Polish 'warunki zabudowy', WZ) for the construction of a single-family residential building. The land is slightly undulating, grass-covered, with clumps of birches; to the east the complex directly adjoins the forest edge, and all around stretch meadows and fields with mid-field tree clusters.

Location and access:

National road no. 15 (DK15) runs through Rakłowice; in one direction it takes you to Cieszków and on to Krotoszyn, and in the other to Milicz and Trzebnica, where there is a junction of the S5 expressway towards Wrocław. The complex lies approx. 1.2 km from the national road, on the outskirts of the village; a municipal road (plot no. 105) leads to the site, from which you enter the internal road of the complex (plots no. 72/12 and 72/13). The nearest bus stop is approx. 1.2 km from the plots. The railway stop is in Cieszków, on the revitalised line no. 281, with regional trains towards Wrocław and Krotoszyn.

Village and surroundings:

Rakłowice is a quiet village dating back to the 16th century, with approx. 140 inhabitants. The buildings are scattered; in the neighbourhood of the complex there are only single detached houses with farms. The primary school, the municipal office and primary health care clinics are in Cieszków. Milicz provides the full county-level facilities: the county office (starostwo), a hospital (Milickie Centrum Medyczne) as well as a general secondary school (liceum) and a secondary school complex.

Recreation:

The area belongs to the Barycz Valley (Dolina Baryczy). The Dolina Baryczy Landscape Park (Park Krajobrazowy Dolina Baryczy), which covers, among others, the municipalities of Cieszków and Milicz, protects fish ponds, wet meadows and forests; it is a bird refuge of European importance, in which 276 species have been recorded. In the neighbouring gmina Milicz lies the Stawy Milickie nature reserve, more than 285 ponds and the largest carp farming centre in Poland. Gmina Milicz maintains a network of signposted cycling routes, including a 23-kilometre path along the route of a former narrow-gauge railway and the Rowerowy Szlak Doliny Baryczy (Barycz Valley Cycling Trail), and along the pond dyke between Stawno and Nowe Grodzisko runs a route with shelters and bird-watching stands. The forest begins just beyond the boundary of the complex, so walks and mushroom picking are right on the doorstep.
